Tiny Present on Copper #5
I made this present for my friend, the visual poet Geof Huth. It's called "The Missing F" because the old dictionary I use for collage jumped from "geodidic" to "geognostic" - it jumped over any possibilities involving the "f" in his name. To add the missing "f," I hammered some fs into the copper using Peter's metal stamps, and then in a flaky moment, I covered most of them up with a piece of film. There's one lone "f" peeking out that I couldn't photograph. So the "f" is there and not.
Collage items and encaustic on antique copper printing plate, 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" inches (I think), 2012.
